Mediation Practice
Fee & Mediation Information
In addition to his insurance coverage practice, Lee H. Shidlofsky has a niche mediation practice that specializes in multi-party construction defect disputes and insurance coverage matters.
In the context of construction/design defect disputes, Lee has successfully mediated numerous school district, hospital, condominium, apartment complex, and general construction defect claims. These claims oftentimes include complex coverage, additional insured and contractual indemnity issues that need to be resolved along with the defect dispute. With respect to coverage matters, he has mediated a variety of first-party and third-party insurance claims, both contractual and extra-contractual, as well as various disputes among insurers.
Although a policyholder lawyer, Lee became a mediator at the request of insurers who wanted a mediator that understands insurance and would take coverage issues into consideration when facilitating a settlement.
More information about Lee’s mediation practice, including fees for mediation, can be found on his mediation information sheet above.
